Rules and requirements For general feedback just leave a comment. If you want to suggest an edit or an addition to the list, please read this page first. The basic data sheets were created using google docs. You'll find a suggest edit link on each page that will direct you to the original google doc. See google help to learn how to suggest edits. Suggestions that do not fit the requirements will not be accepted. Please keep in mind that this project is about dolls with non-standard sized feet. General remarks Boy-shoes on girl feet are only listed when the proportions are still looking right. Besides shops that offer a couple of pairs for special feet there are shoes within the standard product range that fit, too. In this case the shoes are either referenced by owner picture or with a link to a reference page on blogs. Doll company websites are not linked, since it’s pretty obvious that the shoes offered by the specific doll company fit the dolls of the company in question. Same if dolls can share shoes, links to referenced doll company websites are not necessary. Shoe sharing Shoe sharing means that the doll in question can usually wear the referenced doll's shoes. Not necessarily vice versa! We spent a lot of time researching the matter and we hope to give only reliable information. But please keep in mind that doll companies release new body types or feet parts, and even if feet are the same size, the ankles might be different. As a result shoes might generally fit, but pointy shoes or boots without lace up might not. If we don't own the dolls we have to rely on the accuracy of the contributions you make, that is why the rules are rather strict and why we need you to follow them. Shops known to offer tricky feet shoes Our rules for shop links: Regular doll clothes shops, Ebay, Etsy. No Taobao, no shops that sell recasts. If you know of a shop that fits our requirements or if you are selling customized shoes, please let us know. Requirements for shop recommendations:  Shop should offer category targeted to size or more than one pair in specific doll size. For good fits within standard shoe range offered by most bjd clothes shops please refer to item with shop-link and add the doll name you know can wear them. Tested fits only, link to reference picture of doll wearing them required. Please provide reference picture following the instructions. Criteria for perfect fit: Shoe fits in every respect. Criteria for good fit: Shoe must fit width, boots and sneakers might be a little longer than feet. Medium heels with flat feet might cause the doll to have slight balancing issues, but doll must be able to stand in shoes! Shoes that go on but don’t come off without force are not a good fit. Regular oversized MSD boots that stay on but look out of proportion are not considered a good fit. Same for boy shoes on girl feet.

Suggest doll to add to list You own a doll that is not on the list and has feet that do not fit into standard sized shoes? You think it should be on the list? Suggest to add her/him. Before you do that, you might want to measure the foot width if it's not provided with the company measuremt info. Requirements for reference pictures There are three reasons to provide pictures. To show that shoe sharing works. In this case, the picture should show a doll with tricky feet wearing company shoes designed for another doll. Example: Minifee wearing Iplehouse Shoes. Doll feet and shoes should be clearly visible. To show that a boy shoe fits a girl doll and vice versa. Boy-shoes on girl feet are only listed when the proportions are still looking right. To show a pair of shoes within the standard range of shoes offered by bjd clothes shops that happens to fit a doll with tricky feet. How to share picture links to TrickyBJDFeet Create an album or folder on your flickr or image hosting site and name it TrickBJDFeet, if it's only one picture, tagging it will do. That way we know it is your image and you give us permission to share the link. Make sure it's privacy settings are set to public. Upload your pictures. Please add the following text to the description field for each image: Doll: (Name of doll company, dollsize) / wearing shoes made for: Brand, Size (girl, boy, SD, MSD)/Source: Shop (only necessary if standard range shoe) / Fit: perfect/good. Shoe reference picture for #TrickybjdFeet.blogspot.com If your image hosting site allows tags, please add a tag "Trickybjdfeet". Done? Great. If you want to add this picture to the folder to let your followers know what it is all about, feel free to upload it to your flickr. Please go back to TrickyBJDFeet and click the "suggest edit" link below the category the doll belongs to. The link will open a google doc with the raw data used for the data base. In the doc file, pick the category, set the curser in a row and suggest the link to your picture, shop or a blog post as a comment. Don't forget to type the additional information. You'll find an example in every suggestion box. Thank you very much! How to share links to blogposts you made on your blog If you have a doll blog you might prefer posting your pictures there. Same if you already wrote about shoes for dolls with problematic feet. If you want to add a link to a blog post, please make sure the information about size, doll and shoes is mentioned somewhere in your post. Even if your followers know your dolls and recognize their legs or know them by the names you've given them, visitors might not.
